Sounds fun, consider me signed up. Also at least 2 corpmates would like to participate as well.
If it's recorded, it would be fun to see a coach on each side yelling a bit. A CSM for the players? ... Hillmar for the devs? :D... even small PvD would be fun.
I find 5on5's on smaller sized fields a bit more personal and action packet. We can quickly change players like in icehockey to keep up the match speed and have more people participate. How ever you prefer, I'm looking forward to it.
PS: we are swiss, we tend to make good football fights against icelandic volks :) |

Can any Reykjavikian post an estimate cost of gear and where we could get it? My luggage space will be unusually limited and since this event is uncertain, I'd like to consider the 'buy on demand' option. After all, we are rich space ship commanders *cough*, right? |

CCP Puck wrote:As to the team's coordination, perhaps we need someone to step forward as captain, and start an in-game chat channel. How about it, progodlegend? Rally the troops?
Sounds legit. I prepared in-game channel and maillist called "join the troops" for us. Also a player sign-up thread to organize the team. This does not make me captain or coach! Just trying to help on the organization here.
Sign-Up thread (of course inofficial): https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=5444308
I'll try my best to moderate them. If a CSM wants to get a hand on that - great!

Vilianis wrote:With this thread saying 'should be fine' and the newest one stating bus is full...my request for "wives" to join us on the players bus...this still OK/Accurate? If i understand correctly there is a players bus leaving at 1830 and a spectators bus leaving at 1900?
i recommend you to get to the office in time and see wether you get a seat. if not, there will be others there and you can gang up and take a taxi - won't be too expensive i'd say. stay calm, gate is green.

eventually found my way back home after getting litterly lost in the the west fjords the days after fanfest. It felt pretty low-sec out there to be honest
So, once more to CCP, especially Puck; thanks again for that amazing, fun kick-start at fanfest!
I'm sorting out the pics we got from the field and i'll post a link or something for those who want them. Soon (TM).
CCP Puck wrote:We should have some highlight footage ready for the Stream tomorrow. I'll also try to get the source footage, all 90 minutes, on youtube for you guys to study for next year ;) any news on that? i know it's probably a pretty filesize, but i could provide exclusive webspace to share it amongst the ballgorns for 'analysing'. |

Eventually uploaded the match photos of my camera. Thanks to Tony Redgrave for taking the shots and of course, some CCP dude that lend him some decent lenses :)
